The Kumano Sanzan are the three Grand Shrines of the ancient Kumano faith in Wakayama. The shrines are Kumano Nachi Taisha, Kumano Hayatama Taisha and Kumano Hongu Taisha. The associated pilgrimage is known as Kumano Kodo.
