The Takao to Kiyotaki walk follows a river downstream from Kozan-ji, Jingo-ji and Saimyo-ji temples to Kiyotaki village. The path is particularly beautiful during the momiji season.

After the village of Kiyotaki, the increasingly rocky path continues beside the river until it ends at a high bridge. A road from Kiyotaki leads up through a long tunnel to Otagi Nembutsuji temple.
