Kimpusen-ji Temple, Nara

Pilgrims worship at Kimpusen-ji before making the difficult journey to Omine-san. The Zao-do is one of the largest wooden buildings in Japan. The hall enshrines a massive image of Zao Gongen which is shown once every 60 years.
